DetailsThis bowl came from a very old plum tree. It had been in the back yard for 75 years. Many years as a swing and the plums summer delightful flavor made it proud. The man who planted this old girl made wine from her fruit and his wife made a jelly with love. As the years went by it managed to stand up to children climbing. storms and dry summers. Finally last year a heavy snow did it in. I am so proud to have been able to create my plum collection to honor this beautiful old tree. This 6 inch bowl is part of that collection. Its finished with 5 coats of lacquer and my beeswax/microcrystalline wax/walnut oil rub. 6"x3.5"
